Aerial Railway Station-Bridge of Loyola

The bridge is made of two cell steel box girders with a trapezoidal section and 11 spans of 50.4, 21.6, 24, 6x21.6, 24 and 26.4 m., supported by “V shape” metallic piles with a variable trapezoidal section.

In order to provide the structure with dynamism, the webs of the boxes are folded in every section, following a variable line.

The bridge is covered and has two platforms where its access is achieved by an imperial staircase.

The width of the deck is variable. The clear width of the railway platform is 5.94 m., while the docks have a width which varies between 4.73 and 7.355 m.
