Industrial Building

The structure of the TUC TUC headquarters consists of a concrete block on 2 levels which supports the steel portal frames of an open nave of 30 m of span. Hinges were placed in the lintel to facilitate the installation of steel portal frames. The lintel between the hinges acts like a compressed isostatic beam made through maximum depth and width of the flange in midspan, and minimum in the hinges. In one part of the second floor of the building 3 metal parallelepiped truncated and rotated serve as exhibition and meeting rooms.

The unique feature of the structure of the office building of RECYCLAIR is a cantilevered marquee with a span of 5 m, of a mixed structure consisting of concrete and steel. The metal ribs are arranged superiorly (tensile zone of the section), while the concrete remains compressed at all times. The tipping moment of the marquee is collected through two horizontal reactions on the first floor of the structure and the roof.
